Default New and improved TLT

Did a few things over the past week. Heres the major things:

Added RWS
Cut chassis for more clearence
Changed springs
Lengthened wheel base (13.5in)
New lower links
New battery location (over the front axle in the chassis)
Imex single Duallys on 2.2 wheels

Specs:
13.5" wheelbase
9.5" width
4" center clearence
2.25" axle clearence
6" tire height
1.5" tire width
6.5" Top of frame to ground

The width is the problem. I plan on ditching the 2.2 wheels and adding clod rims with clod adapters.

Not at all.

I'm planning on getting some TTR Clod wheel wideners. What do you use?

narrow some clod rims, just cut the inside off all the way to the mounting plate then trim the beed u cut off 2 fit back over the rim and glue it .I also cut the outter beeds off .Width is 11" works mint .I also run Blackfoot outer shafts on the front for a extra 1/2 in width.I need some for the Rear.I Drilled the 5 holes on the clod hub ,Bolted it together and the drilled out the center of the rim so I can Mount them on the TLT .

Kid- I went there, their wideners have hex's on both ends, not a clod hub. Maybe if I bolted a clod hub to that it would work.

Dirk- Thanks, It is tippy, I'm going to shoot for a 12" width.

Whitey- Thanks, I'll have to try that if the wideners don't work. But I will narrow the wheel that way.

Those are the 3/4in. I assume the 1 1/4in wideners look the same.

Heres the link to them on RC4wd http://rc4wd.com/shop/product_info.php?products_id=549

Look at the website... they are $44...

That kind of makes me mad since I spent $70 on wideners and hubs.... Yours aren't as wide, but they are close enough. I am guessing u will have a width around 11''-11.5''... because ur tires are more narrow than mine, and my wideners are .5'' longer.

Finished cutting all the tires. Took over 4 hours. I also glued on some sidebiters.
