Could you put it on a scale quickly? I am curious how much it weighs like that.

1BadJeepBruiser: Thanks, White Losi springs 2.5"? do you happen to have a part number?

SlugzRacing: I dont have a good scale here at the house, but I'll run by the post office on my way to work!

Im not even really sure how much it wieghts, I wanted to keep the tubing minimal cause its solid carbon steel, lol

I'll let you know...

Lofty975: Thank man, wb is 13 inches as of now, Im gonna see how it works and may go down to 12.5... the battery location hasn't been decided yet. Im thinkin about using a 1100mah 1/18 scale pack to keep the wieght down.

Burrlytlt: Thanks, yea Im gonna add some lexan body panel on the side front and maybe back!

Default Update:

Well I got the chassis sand blasted to go to powercoating sometime this week. I also converted my HPI 3ch radio for rear steer (radio shack 3 position switch), Biult my 1050mah 2/3A cell battery pack, and re-wired an old Dynamite "powerpulse" ESC (I think the case is trashed so it might get some heat shrink, lol)...

I'll have pics tonight!

Default Small Update:

I got the steering converted over while the chassis is being powdercoated...

Im using a Revo pushrod (tra3919) for the lower steering link and the stock TLT as a servo link, steering the front is a CS-70MG (a 645mg basically) and the CS-60 is steering the rear (525).

I also got my shock mounts finished... I used a Dubro 3/16" duracollar and drilled it to 5mm and used a 6-32x1/2 screw in place of the setscrew. Then I cut the head off the bolt and will use 6-32 locknuts to hold the shocks on... (I had to drilled the traxxas ballends out alittle)

Sorry for the poor image quality the camera does it inside :?

Im waiting on a Lathe motor to get instock at Towerhobbies, does anyone have one they need to get rid of? If not it looks like the Tuber may take its maden crawl with a P-94 13dbl, lol

Later,
Jake

Very simple and clean. I don't like the tubers that look like a 20 pound jail cell. I like the way you used the collars for shock mounts. I might just have to "borrow" that idea

Nice build. Not to heavy considering it's made from solid rod. What color are you going to do the panels in?
