Default My Comp Tuber Build

My goal is to make a 2.2 tube chassis that can be competition worthy. I got the 90% of the cab finished before I ran out of oxygen for my torch.

More pics coming tomorrow after I get more torch fuel.

Got some more progress and put the chassis up with the axles under it to get an idea where I want to mount stuff.

The bottom is getting chopped off. Just haven't gotten around to it.

Looks good but that stinger is way to tall. If it was my build I would shorten it up to about the hood hieght or just barly taller. But its not mine so do what looks best to you. I look forward to seeing the finished build. Ive always prefered jeeps over toys.

Bum, now you are giving me ideas.
How do the drive shaft angles look in mockup?

they are looking good. They have a slight angle to them but at the speed we crawl its not going to be an issue.

More Pics are coming tonight!!!

Well I finally got all the brackets and mounting plates brazed on and gave the chassis a nice black gloss finish. I aslo painted the body and with red metal flake and put some tribal dragon decals on.

Now I off to bolt it all together...
