Default front dig

i'm working on my front dig i've got it to work. the hard part i'm having is locking the rear end i've tried a rod and it just bends or binds in my spokes. heres some pics :?

That's a sweet clutch. Any shots of the brake?

I've got mine rigged to a 3-position switch (I love my R-1 ) so I can select drive, freewheel or brake for the rear axle. My brake is a rod and a 90 degree bellcrank. The bellcrank butts against a tire. It's not a hard brake (the truck can pull against it) but it's enough to hold it on a hill. Bend up the end of the rod so it doesn't poke through the sidewall. yes it's a fan for the slipper it just gets too hot lol (its locked) The bell crank is a great ideer i'll try it

Darn good thing that you have that fan on the slipper. They get way to hot after they are locked. You better have that down at the shop tommorow so that I can check it out.

cool a new version! did you make the aluminum piece?and is the slipper shaft a female pede shaft with some brass tube epoxyed on each side of the bearing?

yes it was made from 1"x2"x1/4" alum. Solder holds the bearing. The brass tube is crimped on both ends to hold the female shaft.

Ive heard that if you need extra stuff to complete a course then you must not know how to drive. Lets go do a little testing out at promintory point Sat morning, let me know.
