Default Spur and pinion gears

I tried searching but couldn't find my answer. What is the best pinion and spur set up for a TLT crawler with 2.2s and a 45t motor?

it really depends on what you want... torque or speed.... with my 55t lathe motor i run a 16/87 and it seems to be the best combo of both worlds...

I don't need speed just the ability to crawl and have enough wheel speed if I need to bump up and over something.

I run 12/87 with a 55 turn lathe and it works great.

well then go to your LHS or whatever and ask for the biggest spur gear avalible for a stampede and then yep you guessed it, ask for the smallest pinion to go with it.

87/13, 55 turn. Lots o torque, fair amount of wheel speed. You'll just have to play around with pinions till you find a setup that suits your driving style....But like mentioned before buy the biggest spur you can find.
