Here's one way to do it...

This was a Losi tranny, but same idea. In this case, I shortened the outdrive by about 1/4" and drilled a hole for a cross pin. I did the same with the Stampede axle yoke and used the stock cross pin to put them together. I filled the outrdive with JB weld to fill any gaps and inserted and cross pinned the yoke before the epoxy hardened.

Here's how I installed a T-Maxx shaft on my Stealth tranny...

In this case, I also shortened and cross drilled the outdrives, then drilled out the Maxx yokes to fit over the Stealth outdrives and then cross pinned them.

Yep, that's what I do on all my crawlers no matter what tranny I use(Emaxx, Pede, Extreme Blackfoot, etc...)

oIIIIIo - let me make sure I am getting this straight.

You use the
Traxxas Rear Stub Axle & Yokes Jato and cut the end off so that it will fit snuggly into the Stealth's output's. The cross drilled the end of the axle stub shaft so that it you could cross pin it through the two slots in the output of the Stealth tranny (this keeps it from spinning but can be pulled in and out). Then you JB it in there which then keeps if from pulling out and takes up slack. Then just slap on a set of pede shafts like normal.
That seem correct?

My dumb self was search for parts trying to find a way to attach them as was about to ask of the axle yolk was the same size as the d-shaft yolk, and then I found this.
Thanks for the help

if you buy the traxxas steel output yokes you can just tack weld them to the stock stealth outdrives.... one more option

I saw that option and liked it untill I snapped back into reality. My welder is 300+ miles away while I go to college and even then it is a 220 stick that would probably fry the yoke

stick would be bad for the yoke.... just go to a muffler shop and have them tack it with a mig. probably do it for free or really cheap.

In the pic above, I used the rear stub from a Stampede/Rustler - not a Jato. That might work as well, but I don't have the Jato parts to verify. I also cut down the tranny outdrives by about 1/4" just so they don't stick out a mile and screw up my driveshaft angles.

The tranny I used in this case was a Losi XXX. The XXX outdrives are almost exactly the same diameter as the yoke on the Stampede stubs which means you can assemble the diff before putting it in the tranny. The outdrives on the Associated Stealth are significantly slimmer which would mean you would have to install the stubs after the diff is in the tranny, and if you used the JB weld, you could never disassemble the tranny.

For a Stealth tranny, I would recommend using T-Maxx shafts and just drill out the yoke to fit over the Stealth outdrive like in the second pic above.

I think I accidently posted the wrong one, found the stampede stubs.

This part has me confused. What is the diff? When I think of diff, I think of the axle's differential. Are you saying that with the losi outdrives, that you can assemble the driveshaft and then connect the yoke to the tranny's outdrive?

Do you know what the outside diameter of the T-Maxx shafts are? The reason for me using the pede shafts is because I already know what parts I will need for the front dig mod. If I change shafts, I need to know the OD of the female section so I can try to find the replacement parts.
Thanks a bunch for the help....hope that makes sense.

remember that the stealth is basically a transaxle, the outdrive is a differiental, and you need to lock it up too!

Ok, I wasn't thinking of it as a transaxle...just knew I needed to lock it for some reason

So with the stealth trans I would have to have it completely assembled as it came in the box (now locked) and then attach the stub shaft yoke. That doesn't seem bad, or is it?

I can already have it drilled while it is off and cut it down, then assemble trans/diff and then slap in the stubby yoke.
