| Bearing Sets.
Just wondering if anyone has purchased one of the complete TLT bearing sets off of ebay. The one I am looking at is : http://cgi.ebay.com.au/SET-35-Tamiya...QQcmdZViewItem Has anyone ever used these what did you think? Is it better to buy genuine? Or did you find these ones to be ok. Not looking for arguments or anything here just which ball bearings you have used and how you found them in your TLT |

Unimoger reommended I buy the bearing kit for a knight hauler. I got them from some guy in hong kong off ebay. They are MUCH cheaper and you are even left with a few extra bearings. the shipping time was about 2 weeks (10 buisness days). give that a try the bearings are the same size 5x11 I think... MIke |

They are the same bearings for the tlt or the Kight hauler. you get more from the kight hauler though. so if you are going to build 4 tlts then it is better to get the kight hauler kit. Just make sure you order from someone in the U.S. or you will wait a few weeks for the bearings.

Rubber sealed 5x11's and you need 20 bearings to do both axles. You can get the metal shields but they let more crud in. |

I got mine off of ebay from WalawalaStore. They were less than $15 after shipping and took about a week and a half to get from Hong Kong.

X3 on Walawala. Ive bought many sets for different r/cs from them. Some tiems you can even get it cheaper, if you look through thier store and buy them indavidualy. Not ont the tlt sets, but it came out cheaper for the pede tranny sets.

i have used a few places for beaing kits, not just tlt including walawala, fast eddy etc and i find that aslong as your not into mega fast speeds the cheapo ones do just aswell. the ceramic bearings last alot longer and are more free running but cost a load more. so the choice is yours antoni |
