What chassis? What axles are you going to hook it to? A bit more info would help gain your answers..... Here's my 'Pede tranny in a stock Clod tub... | |

Most people ditch the stock chassis. Search around for one of wookie's posts. He had the pede tranny in the stock chassis, but then went and made a new one. This area is small scale crawlers so anything with 2.2's or less, anywhere from clods, bruisers, TLTs, to VMG's and Mini-t's. |

are there any dogbones that would work for a long extension? i bought some 78mm hpi ones and they are just way to huge, so much work would need to be done to the ends. or like i aske din my other post, a way to mount sliders to the stock tranny? |

There is a way, but it takes alot of fabrication on your end. Basically you drill a hole through the solid parts of the ball cups, then shave them into a V with the skinny end pointing towards the axles. Pop one of the ball joints in and hook up the slider piece. There was an orange bronco on here a few months back that did it. Try scanning some of the last pages of this forum for it.

Maxx sliders will work. Heck, I think Wookie is using Revo sliders.
