Default my tlt build

whats up everyone , im finally getting back into rc i took a long break for awhile ..

i just was over at english town racepark in NJ and i picked up a tlt-1 with no electronics already built for only 65 bucks so i decided im going to make it a crawler / mudder probably mostly mud for when i bring it off roading and quading with us but i deffinetely want to be able to crawl some rocks so yea today all i really did was disassemble it because it was already built so now i can see what im working with haha anyway i plan to lock the diffs do either a 3 link or 4 link some bigs tires for the mud and im not sure what kind of chassis to use but i have an e-max tranny i am thinking about using .. so im not sure if i should use that , if i do use it ill lock it into first so what do you guys think about my project ?

p.s.
ill have some pictures up tonight

Welcome to the site! If your post doesnt have any tech its in chit-chat,
Just want to let ya know!
Heres what would be good for mud/and some crawling,
4 link maxx links
35t lathe motor
imex swamp dawgs 2.2
scale chassis-depending on price of what you want to spend- I know a very scale chassis for 65!! ITS AWESOME scale! Like a bruiser chassis!
ETC

Don't get Moabs for mud. Moabs suck when muddy. Get swamp dawgs or Masher 2K.

Thats a heck of a deal for a TLT!

I have an Emaxx tranny in mine, and I am trying to find a cheap mini servo to shift it with. I would not lock it in either gear. It is nice to have first for crawling, then shift on the fly to second for trail, mud or whatever. Keep us updated...
