Default Another SW2 in progress…

Bender chassis of course, TLT axles, HPI spikes, Moab’s, Holmes brushless w/ Mamba, Pede tranny, everything locked, Maxx shocks, etc.

This is my first crawler so I’m sure I haven’t done some things right but that’s part of the fun, learning new things. Still working on the sliders. The back half is squared away but the fronts need more work. Also need to do some trimming and replacing on some of the fasteners to get those in order. See anything wrong or where I’m going astray?

Nice clean build. You'll love the Revolver! Might want to single narrow the back of those wheels.

Only problem I see is that it is too clean and has no rock rash. Get some electronics on that thing and unpretty it!

Looks good overall.

Dang, that's one sweet setup! Narrow the wheels and put the steerring rod ontop of the knuckles, but everything else looks good.

Looking good, very clean. Your rear shocks are mounted to different holes.

Oooooo Weeeeee!! thats a clean looking build!

I think just about everything has been covered, you are off to a great start for a "newbie" ;) Did you drill the axle inputs out? Grub screws wont hold the shafts on with that motor, cross screws are needed.

You should share some of your other toys with us! Post em up in chitchat, since they dont exactly crawl. I would love to see the huge powerplants you use.

Thanks guys. Haven't drilled the inputs out, suppose I should. I’ll post more pics when it’s done. It’s getting the HPI Bronco body. Here's a link to a few of my favorite things...besides my wife of course

Cool

Are you going to stick with those Maxx links or are you going to upgrade to beefier units? One would think with all that power you're putting through that badboy it would break something on your truck.I would also invest in a set of TLT axle braces from either junfac.com(Korea) or from Team PRP racing, they make a conversion kit for the TLT it comes with the axle braces.Nice rig, though.Get her scratched up,now.

Thanks for the nice comments. I seem to have a new affinity for crawlers and also want to start on a clod based comp crawler. I have a set of RC4WD 2.2 CNC Narrow Beadlock Wheels coming for the TLT so I’m looking forward to checking those out. I do plan on making some new links but I'll see where I’m at once it's up and running. Or I should say what breaks first.

Yes, 7 minutes on the big heli. It really draws down those packs at 17lbs. We rarely need more than about 5 in the air to get the shots for our clients.
