| Shocks? Hi everyone I am putting my TLT into a 1:10 crawler with the parts listed below. Junfac.com Tracer 1/10 Crawler Conversion Kit $99.00 Junfac.com 2.2” Wheel Widener $15.59$27.00 Junfac.com TLT-1 Skid Plate Kit $14.00 Junfac.com TLT-1 Skid Plate Kit $14.00 Junfac.com TLT-1 Heavy Duty Steering Rods $16.00 Towerhobbies.com HPI Split 5 Truck Wheel Chrome (2) $11.99 Towerhobbies.com HPI Split 5 Truck Wheel Chrome (2) $11.99 Towerhobbies.com Pro-Line Moab 2.2” Tire Front/Rear (2) $15.59 Towerhobbies.com Pro-Line Moab 2.2” Tire Front/Rear (2) That all comes out to $225.19 and I have $251 so I got about $25 left and I need to get four shocks like maybe stock E-Maxx shocks or something but it can only come out to $25 total or aroung that price. Can anybody please help me. Thanks. |

Lose the skids, don't need them. Get the Max shocks (under $20.00 on e-bay for all four) and your good.

Oh ok well thanks again and I just chose black rims insted of chrome so now i got $31 to spend for shocks with the skids included but i might just get rid of the skids.

Yeah, ditch the skids. They'll hurt you more than help you. Those axle cases can take a beating; no skids necessary. Spend the $28 bucks on skids for something more worthwhile...

I dont think you need heavy duty steering rods. I would take that off the list, but see what other people say

How is that tracer conversion kit working out for you?? I ordered one of those too... and im thinking with some modification, it might be pretty sick?? how is it out of the box?? For that matter... has anyone tried it?? Quote:

Personally, I like the Tracer conversion kit. But I am surprised that people aren't jumping all over the fact that it uses the stock tranny.
