| Shock question Ok guys I have been pouring over the TLT photo archive and have a question about shock mounting. Most people have their shocks mounted in a conventional manner(oil reservoir on the top), but there are a few that have them mounted upside down(the oil reservoir on the bottom). What’s the deal? Is there an advantage to running the shocks upside down? Is this done for clearance issues? Help a newb understand. Thanks. BTW I'll be running Maxx shocks if it matters. The only advantage of running them upside down is that it lowers the COG a little, but the shocks still work the same. Hope that helps you. |
