so i finally tore it down locked the front and rear axle again, painted the frame and sleeved the links.

looks good i think you could get more flex if you put your rear shocks more inward.

yeah my only problem with laying them down more is that they rub against the frame and unscrew themselves lol. i just bought some longer shocks from rydinhigh they should be here soon.

not lay them down inboard them on the last pic on the rear where the blue bar is take it out and bend your mounts in a bit so the shocks dont hit the frame.

i like the idea of the water proof box, can i get some more pics of that? how did you seal it off, and what about the on/off switch?

well it's a small 3 by 4 inch tupperware box i found in the house, it's sealed off with hot glue: i drilled a hole for the wires , and a mounting hole for the switch, then i layed the wires out all facing away from one another and poured the hot glue in, twisted it while it was still hot, and just beaded the outside with more hot glue, also on the inside on both holes.

i have totally submerged it four times now and its fine...
a guy i met in the lhs says they used to do it to all their boats...
