![]() ![]() This is my first build. I still need Esc, batteries, tires, wheels, and a body. My body is going to be a 70 El Camino. Thanks Chris, Last edited by christoleher; 07-13-2006 at 11:08 PM.

I would highly recommend getting some different shocks. The factory TLT shocks aren't that great and you'll be wishing you had gotten different ones. I'd suggest a set of E-Maxx shocks (at least that's what I run on my P4).

Ok yea I think so too. They feel to stiff to me. Thats how all cantilever shocks are. They are really stiff. What rod ends do you use for the links.

Here's the rod ends I use. http://www2.towerhobbies.com/cgi-bin...&I=LXJG69&P=ML And for shocks, you can usually just use stock t-maxx shocks. You can find them extremely cheap on e-bay. I got some brand new ones for about ten bucks for a set of eight. The springs though are really stiff, which are fine for the rear of the truck, but don't work well on the front.

You need to ditch those stock shocks for better ones. Other then that it looks good. It will perform 100% better with better shocks.

Look forward to seeing your Delrin P4 UnHoly. And both of yours freetimecrawler. I would have liked an aluminum one, but they were offered after I got my Delrin one. None the less it has been working well for me;)

The delrin is a little bit more flexible when everything is built, although in my opinion it's plenty strong enough. I have not be able to break a plate yet.

Are you talking about links?? If so, my tap plastics only carried the 1/4 delrin rod in white. I'm not sure why they didn't get the black.
