Default Pede Trany Gears?

I know on the Traxxas site it says that you can only run the aluminum idler gear with the delrin top gear but for crawling can you use the stock top gear thanks

Yeah, they work fine. Run them, if they fail upgrade when they do.

The only reason they tell you not to use the stock top steel gear with the aluminum idler is supposedly that the two metal gears meshing together will cause radio interference. If you grease all the gears really well, this is virtually a non issue.
