Default Built my 2nd edition stick with new pictures

Well I dug in my boxes full of parts and had enough to build this. I only had to take a controller from one of my other trucks. I don't think it is to bad for not buying anything at all. It crawls great so far. I can't wait to try it side by side with my other crawlers. TV said we had over 3" of rain today. Anyway here it is.

Now with the offset torsion bar, don't your tires rub against it when at full turn? Looking at my TLT, that would take away a lot of my turning radius. But then again my steering is modded a bit.

Cool, Team Home Depot is growing in size. How would have thought that the hardware store would be such a mecca of parts and engineering!

Ok thats cool, with my setup I have quite a bit more steering throw. And I would be over a quarter inch into it.

Hate to rain on cool project. It seems if it took a good roll and hit one wheel that it might crack the axle housing. Might try to find a way to beef it up some before that happens. Still it really cool idea. I always like seeing something different.

Default Part 2 of my stick

Well I decided to change the "STICK" around. I kept everything as low as possible. I like everybody else's ideas and used some of them in my redo. I am still using aluminum angle for the "stick" and it will get one tire about 4" off the ground before it lifts another tire. I also added 3oz's of weight to each tire. Here is a few pictures.
