Why spikes in the tires? doesnt seem like it would get much traction on rocks unless you are doing somthign else with this rig??

the reason for the tires was because i diddent feel like paying $40 for tires instead just $5 to mod them plus the stock pede tires cant be used for anything else and ill try the low battery thing i think it may just be poor quality batteries i should go out and buy energizer batteries now my problem is keeping the wires soldierd to my motor the keep comming off. im also not that good at soldering have any tips im thinkin of goin out to buy thinner soldier |

is it rosin core solder.... i put solder on the wires then on the motor tabs so that all i have to do is heat them alittle as i put them together.
