I thought about making it a scale truck but i feel that the body and tire selection alone do not make a scale truck chassis design and suspension systems make for a scale truck. the truck will be getting 2.2 moabs so if you know anyone looking for these bfgs let me know.

but rember the rule of thumb, the stick can be no larger then your thumb i like it. looks cool, good idea on the chassis. lets see some paint on that body!

It's the stick can't be bigger around than your thumb. A toothpick is about the length of your thumb, that won't do much damage.

Good to see something different. Seems like every post is another stick these days. But since I haven't got my TLT yet, I can't say too much.

Don't know about that styrene chassis. Without lots of bracing, it's not going to take the loads from the shocks very well. You'll have a lot of torsional loading as well, and styrene likes to crack under stress.

You can avoid most of the flex by adding a brace at 90 degrees to the edges (think folded paper, much stiffer than unfolded) or even doing a box section. Either way, I think you'll want to tie the ends of the chassis together somehow to avoid pretzeling it.

Props for originality, though

THanks for the ideas goat this is mainly a mockup/layout chassis I will be running this way to test the setup and the most likely have it cut from carbon fiber.
