Default 72 chevy Diaz chassis

Truck has a runner reverse esc, about 35 bucks. Smaller footprint than the futaba 230 esc even. It works well for a lathe motor or stinger. (haven't tested anything else yet) This truck currently has a 55 turn lathe motor. I'm using my modified tq3 for the upcomming hilift since it's not out yet.

I put imex swampers on it, like the look. Traction is decent too.

Chassis is a Diaz DT-1

Designed mainly for a pede tranny it is a nice piece.

This is the body I did myself and put on some RCMT decals.

I'm going to put some "sponsor" decals like you'lll see on a nascar car behind the front wheel well after I trim it back a bit. Other than that I guess the body looks ok.

I used Dap33 window glaze in the rear diff, it's packed in well. I think this is the best I've tried for a limited diff. I get posi every time in the loose mulch, and it'll climb over rocks and curbs well with 1 tire lifted. Front diff is open, I am 2w steer and wanted some sort of decent steering radious still.

http://myrcmt.net/review/diaz/diaz_play.wmv 2 minute video of it outside. Man, it's hot and humid today, about 92 while I was out.

I think I want a bit more wheel speed, maybe I'll go up a couple pinion teeth.

Looks good. Paint is a little different, but it's not bad.

In the pics it looks like the open side of the frame rail channel is facing outward, maybe its just an illusion from the machining. Is there a channel on both sides of the frame, or are the frame rails on the wrong sides? or am i missing something?
