| Making my own TLT Aluminum beadlocks, need input...
Guys, I am making my own 2.2 beadlocks for my TLT axle'd rigs since I have yet to find some that really catch my eye. However, since I have yet to build a complete one, I need some input from you guys. --What is the best overall wheel width you have found so far? It seems from the data I have seen on this site, 1.5" is most common. --What is the best offset in general for the average TLT axle'd crawler? This would be the measurment from the backside of the wheel to the face of the surface where the hex touches. --Obviously there will be 2 rings and the main wheel. I can't decide if I should do an interchangable center section that would bolt in or make it all one solid piece? Any input would be greatly appreciated. Thanks Matt |
