Default Help with driveshaft..

Hello, I finaly have enough money to finish my crawler and I need help with the drive shafts. Im using a sw2 chassis and tlt axles. Im using orcrc tlt build-up as myguide and I dont really understand how to make the rear driveshaft longer. I just need to know what parts to order to make the driveshafts and to make the rear longer. If anyone can solve my problem you will be greatly appreciated. Thanks

If your running a pede tranny you can make one long drive shaft out of two regular traxxis sliders. I cut the female section from one, glued it onto the male shaft, leaving half of it sticking out so you can use another male shaft to go into it. Sorry no pics at this time.

just use regular pede shafts and cut the yoke off the female one(the one with no splines) and use the hollow tube on a male one, just put it about half an inch on it and viola a extended slider i ll post pics in a sec.

One other thing. Some people may do it different but I left one end unglued so the driveshaft will still slide. If you glue both male ends into the female parts they won't slide and your links will have to be just the right length to get full artic. with no binding.
