looks really clean for a stock chassis, what kind of mods did you make to adapt the pede tranny?

i had to cut a squar into one side of the chasis so that the spur gear could stick out and i had t drill some new holes on the other side to mount teh trany to the chasis.

Looks good man. If you lay that tranny down and put you batt. on front upper links you will see a big difference when climbing steep hills. You will probably have to use a stick pack on the front. The fun of these things is experimenting. Good luck.

Does look good. I wish I used the Jato shafts when I did mine. If you are going to stick with the stock chassis, you may want to trim about an inch off the bottom of the chassis and use the stock mounting hole for the upper links as lower link mounts (then you will have to move your tranny up). This will help lower your CG a bit. Once you get out crawling, you may find that your front steering links are hitting rocks as you crawl. Sleeving them will help protect them and reorienting them so that all the links are on top of the steering arm will give you a little more clearance. You can do the same to the rear. Here is my build thread on my stocker. First crawler - Stock chassis - Who needs expensive stuff... 56k beware Check it out if you want and you can see pictures of what I am talking about. I kept the stock shocks for scale apperance, but upgrading to Maxx shocks or another 4 inch shock will give more articulation and more consistant movement. Sometimes the stock shocks will bind on the springs. |

ok so i took the bumper off and found a new way to mount the link to teh servo mount. and i put both links for the front about teh littel arm thing so that i dont smash them into rocks and sleeved them wiht tubing.

Looks like a nice build, I'm curious to see how it looks with a body and hear how it performs. I just want a nice performing trail rig, may be building something similiar to what you have there.
