12" wheelbase for me. It gets hung up at times, but provides stability at the same time and looks real good. Hopefully with IMEX's new "All T" tires which I heard are 5.5" tall, the longer wheelbase won't get hung up anymore.

Hey yall. I'm new to the whole TLT thing and am awaiting delivery of a new TLT-1 to make into a crawler eventually. I read the newbie sticky post and will probably lengthen the wheel base for the first mod. When going to a longer wheel base what drive shafts is everyone using? Or are the stock shafts long enough? Thanks!

I have a question regarding the length of the maxx turnbuckles. Is the dimension referred to 106mm and 96mm the whole length of it or is it the length with the ends on it? Or is it the length from eye hole to eye hole. I guess what I am asking is what exactly is 106 and 96? From where to where.

You'll need either longer dogbones or convert it to traxxas sliders for a longer wheelbase. I think the 106/96 is from eyelet to eyelet. |

For dogbones on a 96/106 based 4-link read this thread: http://www.rccrawler.com/postt3953.html The Vertigo center diff locker will work with the HPI diff cups as well if you want a solid, locked center diff. |

IF you are going for scale, i would say anywhere from 11 to 13, depends of the body you want to use. i am at 12.5 and have a rubicon body.
