Smile Angled stick

This is my first tlt.

I am still messing around with the setup, but this little 8 buck chassis works great.

I saw cole's and had to try one.

I have used a xxxt mf tranny with revo shafts. I was getting some transmission movement and added that aluminum mount.....much better.

The setup is a little tight, I am waiting on a real servo.

Comments are welcome. I am still looking for a body....ideas?

looks nice... If you flip your c channel 180degrees you can use the channel as a skidplate...

I would move eveything you could on those axles. If you don't that set up really won't help much. You need that extra weight on the axles. Thats was the whole thing about building a stick TLT.

here is an update

Rock pleazer body, relocated electronics,
added another cell to the batt pack, new
645mg servo (thanks again Jason)

I tried adding bbs to the wheels without foams.
God that sucked. Definitely need the foams with
these crappy tires. I will probably get stick on
weights instead of the bbs.

Something isn't right with my setup, I don't
get much articulation with the left front wheel.
The others around 55 to 60 (guesstimate)

Overall I am happy with the truck. It climbs all
the granite in my yard fairly easily, but it is a lot
more fun on my home rocks than my maxx
crawler was.....

Those tires work better than moabs in my area. When clean nothing grips as well as those. Abetter tire than moabs are masher2000. Losi smashers next then moabs. Just IMO

wow, maybe my weight free setup has me thinking to harshly of my tires. I will try them out with some stick-on weights before my moabs come in.

Looks good.... I found that adding weight to the rims REALLY helps... and run2jeep was on the right track.... these stick seem to work best when the weight is on the axle...and out towards the tires...
