Well ive been working on this little thing for some time now. about a week and a half. and have bearings, gear redutcion, wagon body, oilys, stretch kit, front sttering mod (on the way from swami). And this is just the skeleton the frame. Waiting for the swami mounts to come in and the hex's from FSU. but here she is for now. ONWARD TO THE PICS








Cant wait to finsih and drive this thing. I iwll have vids in a week or so and more pics of it crawling real world obsticles. This is my first crawler im happy with the progress

EDIT- Well i finished my vmg. finally. after about a month of having it. i turned it into this.



YES 2.2'S! oilys, locked read and front, servo mod, swami mounts, gear reduction, panel body, custom stretch, custom driveshafts,, 2.2's with swamp dawgs, and 1100 mah battery. so much put into this.

soon to get new body, rool cage and chassis by fsu.

ON TO THE VIDS. this is my mini t track. almost completed btw. short vids about 2mins. was getting dark and just got my digi. enjoy. tomorrow will have vid of big rocks! oh yeah!

Dude that is sweet.How much is it streached and where did you get the stretch kit, shocks are mini t right.

i believe those are the oil filled shocks from venom for the vmg

its not a stretch kit. i did it my self. with 4 40 fiully threaded rod and tubing around it with hpi cups and arms. yes thsoea re venoms oils. they work great for me as of sitting there not moving.

How much if you bought all that stuff and sent it to me as a VMG crawler kit?
Im thinking aobut getting one but want a MASSIVE scale crawler such as your VMG

Would depend on how long oyu want it. I would have to cut the 4 40 up to the size you want and the cut the drive shafts. Hmm. if i bought in bolk maybe i oculd strat it. Ill look into it. It would be a 3 inch kit and a 5inch kit. Of course you would have to do the servo mod your self. All i would be doing is cuttin/selling the links and driveshaft for direct bolt on. And the balls also. I would include a detailed instructions too. lol im getting to much into it. Ill look into it tho. I might buy a 2nd vmg and see what it is like 5 inches. Thanks for your intrest in my vmg and the strecthin.

How much of a stretch is that 3 inches? I have a VMG on its way and would like to nake it a crawler. Does it still an ok basher after that too? How does it do without locked diffs? Also when get the 2.2 converters from fsu please post pics and say if it hits the chassis at all. I thought about getting them but i am not sure if they will be to big.

yeah 3 inches total. i have a gear reduction unit and locked fornt and rear diff's so i cant tell you how good of a basher it is. But it sure can crawl! im getting soem vids soon when ever it stop raining here.

and yeah ill post pics as soon as i get the 2.2 and hex's what rim fit the imex tires? links?

stock drive shafts cut in half then tubing that i jbwelded the drive shaft in. works great

if you want to crawl you will need 4ws. being by the looks of it ur steering sucks. all you have to do is buy front diff casings and put the rear stuff in them and mount a servo yada yada yada.
