I'd like to thank Unimog for the shell (I think that is who I purchased it from). It's been a handy tool for me.

I was making some fangs.

Na I received it with the winch cut off then I cut some more for this build.

Thanks for the offer but I use it for builds and mock up. If I ever paint it, it will have like 70 to 80 percent fo the body left.

Default just about done.

I need to make the Tranny and link mounts and add a bit to the front and it's off to the coaters. I didn't get much build time this weekend as I had planned but was able to get most of it done.

on to the pics.

I think I need to get the stinger in closer to the frame. I'll see once I mock some axles under it.

Finished yet

How do you do the link and shock mounts? Is there room for adjustment....several holes? How is the bottom, is it left open or do you put in a steel plate? Room for a delrin skid plate or anything?

When it gets closer to finished and you have the stuff mounted on it, can you get some detailed shots of that stuff.
I love watching these builds

I can probably do delrin on the bottom, but it looks like it will get sheet metal becaus it's getting Powder coated.
I'll have the link and shock mounts. I'm going with hoops for the shocks on the smaller lower area to fit inside the larger area and braze on a plate with multiple holes. A plate will also go on it for the links and will have at least 3 holes for adjustments.

The pics will continue the way they have been. I think it's pretty detailed so far.

Nice Work DJ!

We'll have to talk about one of these... Interested in doing a larger scale one... Like one that would work with some metal max axles?
