| Can I lock the tlt-1 stock middle diff y in the truck??
Like the title says...Is it possible to lock the middle diff why it is in the truck?? Just wondering, cause on my sons truck he is running a lock rear diff, open front diff and this doesnt climb.... Solet me know what you know ...thanks.... |

Dont think its possible to do it in the truck. I used Traxxass pegs in place of the balls. Also replaced the cheesey "plastic nut holder with the little fingers" with a nyloc nut so I could really tighten it tight. But like I said, I'm afraid you'll have to pull the trans out to do it. Eric |

yes you need JB-weld to lock it up

I suppose JB Weld would work too, still gonna have to pull the trans out to do it.

No, its not. I took out the metal plates in the diff and screwed both sides together with 4-40 screws. Its not going anywhere |

Same... I put 2 screws through it. LOL, I pulled it apart... had my hot melt all ready, stopped, and thought to myself... what would a redneck do?
