Default Fiberglass Jefferson Chassis (Two day build)

I started this project at 11:00 last night with a sheet of fiberglass and some delrin stock. I have to leave for a comp at 7:00 tomorrow I have to work from 4-10 today It's going to tight.

Still have the:

upper links and mounts

Servo mounts

Find my other trans case and mount it down

drive shafts

steering linkage

Battery mounts

Body mounts

Body

2 hours left before work.

6 hours left after work if I go on 6 hours of sleep

Might build the truck in the back seat of the car on the way to the comp.

Later, time is ticking

Nope, they are the softest Duratrax Evader springs cheaper and easier to find then the losi's.

I plan to, my brother has all alum Jefferson that we already milled some weight out off. It should be interesting to see the difference in weight. Mine already feels lighter and i'm running a 1/2" longer wheelbase.

Just wish I could get some people together to compare it against.

Greys are the softest (front) whites are just a hair firmer (rear). I did this for the weight change reasons. Weight shifts to the rear going up hill. Plus I get the best of both worlds low force articulation with heavy spring resistance (works like a progressive spring set.)

Can't find that trans case anywhere. I ordered a new one, guess I'll finish this next week.

Got tired of having a chassis with a body and made the jump to tubers before even driving this rig. Sold it on ebay about a month or two later I noticed Revin9k posted it up in the rockwerk's body thread.
