To reanodize you need to strip the anodizing off, put oven cleaner on the part and let it sit, be carefull or it will eat the metal if you leave it on too long. I dont know how to anodize but chances are its gonna be more work than its worth, and the science is not exact. | |

Well, I'd say just make your own links, then wrap them with some green fuel tubing. Next for your shocks, like was said to strip them. To anodize them, get an anodizing kit $80-1XX and risk getting cancer and stuff like that or send it out to be anodized for about the same cost. |

you may be able to soak the plastic parts in bleach or something to get the dye off and then re-dye them green. i'd send the shocks off for anodizing, way easier and they'll be professionally done. a can or spray paint and clear coat will work too...... |

you wont be able to get the dye off the parts. Like was said dye isnt like paint. If you can get the dye off it will most likely screw up the part like make it rubbery. And with the anodizing kits they are for larger parts. To spend the money on one for this project it would be a waste inless you also wanted to like anodize alot of other parts. |

go to your local paint store and they should have a paint made just for plastics. that should do the trick and cover the red.

I think I might paint them or buy new one and use fuel tubing but paint and if they look good I'll stick with them
