Default tube chassis link length???

I am going to make a tube chassis for a TLT. With a 12 inch wheelbase. I was wondering how long the links would have to be to have good articulation? If the links end up too long will that hurt artic...? I was also wondering how long I would have to make the bottom part of the chassis, where the tranny will be? It will use a Stampede tranny.

Thanx Dust

longer links are less likely to limit flex, but also you can gain a little center clearance with slightly shorter links. It all just depends on your chassis design
