Default wannabe bulu2 rebuild

I got this in trade. It needs work and parts which I'am gathering as of now. I will be redoing some things on it.So be updating has I'am doing mods and puting parts on. I threw it somewhat together to get idea what look like. A few questions
specs

- normal modded pede trans
- some kind of lathe motor 55t or 45t
- either tazer or moped esc
- shaved lock, fat rock c hubs and updated tlt shafts, blackfoot stub axles
- either moabs or mashers on a&e narrowed beadlocks with unimogers rings
- 3 linked

A few questions :

- would 87/12 gearing with 45t lathe be a good combo ?I like creep along but also have wheelspeed when I need it.I do plan on buy some spurs and pinions to play around with, But just to get me started.
- what weight oil in shocks some where around 20 to ??

Hello,

It all looks good except for one thing you might want to check. I don't know if it's just the picture or not but it appears your caster angle is way off which will have you steering into the ground. Truck looks sick itself, nice work.

your right, I need to either switch my front shocks to 3.5'' er's or make a mount on top the axle for shock.

It's usually the links that throw the axles out of caster. Either the top or bottom is not the correct length. As far as needing different shocks if you do want to try 3-1/2" shocks just mod yours real quick and check it out, no need to buy new shocks. Here the link to the simple shock mod: http://www.xtreme-rc-hobbies.net/shockinstructions.html

Didn't get as much done as I wanted to, But I did get the rear done. I use 1/4'' nuts as spacers for my blackfoot stub axles. I do like the overall track width now,not wide and not so narrow.tomm I will do the front, friday waterproof my electronics and clean up my trans case and install my lathe.

Shaved the housing...

You listed Fat Rock C's, but they aren't in the pics. Are they not installed? How's the fit and finish? Want to sell them?
