Default Servo for TLT-1/SW2

I'm building a crawler and I did search but all I found were old answers.

Anyway, can I get some help picking above average servos for the front and rear of my new SW2 with 2.2 Moabs?

Thanks,

DE

Most people use Hitec's 645mg, that's what I designed the servo mounts around too.

check out the Hitec 645 servos as well as the TowerPro MG995 servos. those both seem to be pretty popular servos on this website. well enough power for TLT.

Hitec can be found here, scroll down for info : http://www2.towerhobbies.com/cgi-bin...&I=LXUZ89&P=ML

search this website for MG995 for more info on those servos

That servo is the same as a 645, except a plastic gear and it's a little faster, you can swap the gear set from a 645 into it and have a pretty wicked little servo!

I use JR 650z servos on most of my rigs, they are metal gear, ball bearing and have 144 oz of torque and a 3 year no question asked warranty.

Are you serious? I could just swap in the 645 gear set into the 605?? Like this?

I just put one of those on my SW2 for Moab, awesome servo.....especially at 7.2V!

I just picked up a JR 125Z (I think that's what it was), same spec as the 650Z. Both are very reasonably priced.

I love this one too.

I prefer my JR 9000t 330 oz tourqe 3 year warranty. It has enuf power to flip the entire truck over with a single wedged tire. Ive never seen one burned up which seems to be a common problem on some robot servos. there not so cheap $115 they will run with a moped esc though without a RX pack.
