That is a very impressive chassis juggster. It's now my new wallpaper! It's solid stainless rod stock? Are you brass brazing these? I played with rc cars in the 80's (no esc's back then!) Mostly racing 1/12th carpet cars, and have been wanting to get back in lately. I had no idea guys were making scale sized rock crawlers until I saw one for sale on Ebay a couple months ago, so since I love full size rock crawlers that's what I want to build up now. I've already got a slightly used TLT-1 on the way. I immediately wanted to avoid the dual motor/no driveshafts Clod-type setup, I've seen so many beautiful rigs so far that are very to-scale looking by using the TLT axles and some kind of hand fabricated tube frame, I know I won't be satisfied with less. Seems to me that any buggy tranny will work if turned sideways. I have a lot of research to do, I guess. Anyway, this is my first post here, so I'll get to know you guys as I learn about these things. First stop is the archives so I can hopefully keep the stupid questions to a minimum... |

Great to see this rig in person. looks as good , if not better. Your craftsmanship is top notch! hope you can get your driveshafts sorted out so we can see this gem crawl a little longer. I would also like to see your other 2.2 rig crawl. that one is sweet. |
