Default Revo Pushrods

i am going to build a tlt crawler with a custom chassis, and on all the guides i have found, no one says how long the tierods have to be, and i was wondering if i could use revo pushrods instead because they qould end up being cheaper and stronger.

Any reason you don't use them anymore? Just curious.

You could make your own links out of allthread and some brakeline/ alum tubing. Should be cheaper than pushrods I'd think (bout $10 for the threaded rod and alum tube from home depot)

He's asking about the tierod.... the link between the wheels, or knuckles. At least from his wording that is how it comes across to me.

If he's asking about building links for a 4-link setup then he needs to play with his ideal WB and chassis layout. There are endless options for link lengths and chassis layouts. People need to remember that building a RC Crawler isn't like building a RC-10. There are no instructions included with this stuff.

As far as price goes, I paid $4 at Lowes for a 3ft piece of solid 1/4in aluminum tube and a 1ft piece of 6-32 all thread.

Solid tube? How does that work? If it's solid how is it a tube? Tube is not solid.

Rodger Dodger. He's looking for Tie Rods. I was thinking links because he mentioned it was for a custom built chassis.

If you get the revo pushrods for the P3 rockers(part# 5319 or 5319X for red aluminum ones), they are very close to the right length. They are also 10 bucks a pair.

Perhaps he is and just doesn't understand the terminology that needs to be used.
