Double check the type of pinion and make sure it is the correct type. Good luck.

Unless you change the spur gear also, you need to stick with 48 pitch.
Changing from a stock 24 tooth to a 14 tooth pinion only cost me $3.50, but was far and away the single most impressive performance mod I've done so far.

Mud maybe? Try taking it apart and cleaning it. The brushes probably aren't making a good contact.

Also, can you turn it by hand or is it completely seized?

Try the axioms, i switched from integys to axiom and the difference in smoothness was impressive, throttle response was also enhanced i might even have gotten better run times also

Axiom motors are actually enhanced integys, yes they have more power, i was running 75t with 9 tooth gears on my claw and 6 cells on a moped, it was great, i then went to 8 cells and it was awesome, though my esc doesn't reccomend it , check out the vendors section for the axioms i think JRH aslo sells them.
