Default my rear diff is on its last legs

i put maxx shafts in it to keep from breaking drieshafts. i put brushless in it because i wwanted more power, no ive got both of those and i found the next weak link. the 3 diff screws stripped out and the JB weld on the spiders broke allowing one of the wheels to spin. so i piled the JB on nice and thick and welded the diff together completely.

Hey Bender, you run brushless im guessing? If so what do you want your weak link to be?

personally i'd rather have the weak link be the driveshafts, easier to replace...

there were no threads left in the holes for the screws to thread into so i just filed the holes with jb weld and let it set up with the screws in there. someone needs to make a spool for these things.

those rc4wd looks smaller/lighter? if so that would help getting the power to the wheels better!

Yeah, that's my semi-weak link too. I still break an occasional axle shaft, but it's rare.

I wish that were the price for 2. I'd buy enough to replace all my gears in my trucks. As is, I'm having problems eating up gears lately. I might have a look at those for the rears the next time mine go out.

Note: We recommend to install for the rear only. But if rock crawling is all you do, you can buy two to install in the front and rear axle.

$34.99 gets you one spool.

It says so at the top -
"(1) Aluminum TracGear Spool for Tamiya TLT-1 & F-350 High Lift"

and beneath the pics, where the description is -
"What's included:

1x RC4WD TracGear for TLT-1"
