Default Tubed Crawler

Hey everyone, im pretty new to the whole rock crawlin scene, and ive had a blast with it so far. Thought i'd share my crawler with you guys just to see what you think.

Specs:
custom built 3/16 solid rod tube chassis
75 turn lathe
pede tranny
assoc. shocks
pede wheels w/ moabs
3300 sub c 6 cell
tazer esc
rs310 receiver
645mg steering servo

thanks for all of the comments guys. i'm actually going to be selling this chassis soon ( hopefully the end of this week) so look for it in the for sale forum. i built it, drove it, love it, but want build another tuber. unfortunately the old lady wont stand me having too many toys.:-(

SicJ, your immolator build is where i got alot of my inspiration and tips on how to build this. thanks for the props and thanks for leading the way. i spent alot of time back and forth from the bench and my computer lookin at your buildup.

good luck with your tuber. just take it slow, make sure to fishmouth all the joints so they adhere well and have fun.

Do you happen to frequent Wild Bill's in Irving. If so, Tom over there told me about your rig. Very nice. I just built a tlt based crawler myself as a first attempt.

yeah, i do. i ve been going there since i was six years old.

pm me if you want to get together and crawl some time, i have a few little spots in irving and maybe you know of somewhere. i wont be crawling again till the new year seeing as how i just took apart my tube rig to sell it, and my unimog wont be ready for a couple of weeks.
