| what do u run for batts in your tlt?
i am building another 2.2 crawler and was wanting another batt option. on my other tlt i run the 1100 2/3A and it seems like sometimes they just dont have the umph. that does fit on the fronat axle nice tho. i am not a fan of the big ole stick pack sticking out the front either. plenty of juice, but looks goofy. what setup are most people running? |

you could get some venom 2/3a cells, they are 1200s and make a 7, 8 , hell 10 cell pack to get the umph where you want it just remember, + to - = more volts, + to + = more mah |

7-cell IB1400 2/3A custom pack that rides on top of the servo. I didn't like My TLT on 6-cells so I added another, givs a little better wheel speed. I get 1/2 hour or longer of run tme.

when I use to run a brushed setup a I ran a SMC IB 7-cell 2/3A 1200maH pre-madepack with 45T Lathe and a Tekin Rebel II. Worked great plenty of power and ran for about 30-45 minutes per pack. There really is no need to run huge Sub C size cells with the low current lathe motors we run. |

I usually run the big SubC packs, but lately I've made some packs from those energizer rechargables and they seem to work fairly well. I have 2 8 cell packs made so far and enough for another set when I need to make it.

I just run a Reedy Black Label 3300mAh 6 cell stick pack. I have had them for over a year and they still work great. With the SW2 chassis, the pack sits over top of the servo and the links. You can't see it at all with the body on it and it gives you plenty of weight up front for climbing.

I've got a pair of the new 1500 2/3a's from CBP.com. I like em. Super small and incredibly light.
