Default Newb Build not quite!

I'm a relative newb here although I've built a rockbull this is my first tlt build.I am also a machinist and an electrician so this is not any different from fixin machinery!So first off thanks to the forum for KNOWLEDGE yes I used the search function(other newbs take heed its all here)Anyway thanks unimoger for rock rings,run2 jeepin for shocks,tammies for kit,and xrc for chassis and links.

SPECS:
xrc chassis and links xrc
revolvers 1 inch narrowed xrc
Rock rings Unimoger
shocks r2j
trans pede tammies
tlt kit tammies
axiom 55t tammies
87t spur 12t pinion tammies
moab 2.2's tammies
nuff specs pics now


Here's what I got so far



Me and my stepson built and locked the tranny tonight(7 year old and JB weld wooohooo!)Any way tryin to pass on the addiction.




Well enough for tonight maybe a chassis tommorrow,It's bed time at 7 years old (O.K. he's gone )(DAMN RULES! ) that feels better.Peace goodnight!

ya it will be slow, but your son will learn life long knowledge and memories from it.
my son is 8 and his attention span is not long, but i was suprised to see how much he absorbs in what seems like a short time.

Know kiddin in 5 minutes mine was sayin then both shafts will spin together right,and that guy from that carrtoon has a sword right!

Looks like a good beginning. Any idea what body you'll be running? Are you building a fun beater or a comp rig?

Well I reckon it's gonna be a fun beater built like a comp rig.If it's a hair long or short I won't sweat it.Been thinking about a silverado crowd pleaser.(jato body I think).Looks like the axle fairies came with locked axles!

Fun part is tommorrow mating up the steel yokes.

Man I wish the chassis,links and wheels would get here.Might have to extend the axles we'll see.




I heard something about the 06 tranny having different mounts can anybody tell by lookin if this is it or not?I thought the gray case might mean it's an 06.

Well got a little more done,waiting on steering links and lockouts for rear to finish chassis.







What do you think so far?Gotta extend my axles too.
