Default Who has a Pajero?

I'd like to build a scale rig, and not spend a whole lot of money. So I was thinking Pajero.

I understand the tranny and front end are molded into the chassis. I was wondering if I could somehow separate them and build myself a custom chassis and new a-arms. I've seen it where people chop the chassis in half and stretch it. Is that the best way to go? I don't want to cut it up and ruin it.

Also curious about what drive shafts to use on the rear when stretching it.

Do I need to revoke your star???

Need to search a little. A pajero thread started just last week. It couldn't have gone far... If you're going to go through all the hassle of cutting and extending and such, get a TLT.

Well, I dont want to spend a bunch of money. If I could find a cheap Pajero I wouldnt need a new tranny and stuff.

It's all alot of "depends on what you want to do"

Pede or max shafts work
So does max turnbuckles

So it's alot like building a TLT-only on one side.

Also when it comes to the front you cant do alot-dont plan on putting a pajero on swamp dogs unless your willing to hack some stuff.

the pajero is actually around 230 and the tlt is around...110? so the TLT would be cheaper

You can put swamp dogs on one you just have to use your noggin.I lifted mine with my 3/4 " lift and i can fit 2.2's without hackin up the chassis or fender wells.also for drive shafts i cut mine in half and welded a exstention in.the biggest problem to modding your IFS is dogbones which i custom made mine, good luck though ,they are alot of fun to work-on/drive.

I have a cheap Pajero ! All it needs is a new chassis (cracked and un-repareable). Since it is the same chassis as the tourag and new pajero, you should be able to get one.

Other than that the rest of it is in great shape. $ 50 and it yours !
