Default which wheel is better

not sure if this should be in wheels and tires section. but i figure it is ok because its only for small scale trucks.
ok which wheel works best
1.these hpi ones
http://www2.towerhobbies.com/cgi-bin...4&I=LXEWZ9&P=K
2.stock pede front rims.
3.or front pede rims modified like this 0 negitive offset wheels. (TLT OWNERS!!)
most peoples truck is 10'' wide with the hpi rims but with the modified pede fronts its 11.125'' wide. and the cost would be the same to buy the 4 front and 4 rear pede rims to do the mod as the hpi ones would cost.

Its a matter of how much you care about looks and offset. I think the split spoke wheels looks awesome and aren't your run of the mill wheel. The truck is pretty wide with them on, and they do fine for me, but its really up to you.

i think im gonna go with the hpi rims. do they need the center drilled out little, like the pede rims so you can put the wheel nuts on?
i have some really old assosiated beadlocks that lool a lot better than those cause the face plate is aluminum. but i cant find them , lol. so time for some new tires and rims.
i want to get swamp-dawgs because of the looks , but mashers work a lot better as i saw in the first orcrc video. but mabey ill wait for those all t tires that are 5.5 inches tall.

I run the split five spokes without the center drilled. For some reason all the nuts stay on except the driver side rear... It starts to come off after an hour or two of driving, but its the only one... ?

Its all really just a matter of what you want your truck to look like, as they will all offer you pretty much the same offset.

Off topic, but does anyone know whatever happened to DUDE?

He changed his name to theDUDE or something, and I think either he got disheartened due to people trying to push him along in the design or he got banned... Thats what I think anyway...

Oh alright, thanks for clearing it up. I was just curious cause the other day I was looking back and I read his thread on his truck, and it was so interesting, just seeing how simple and effective of a setup he had. It's really awesome looking at how far the TLT has come, from stock, to people modding it to lengthen the wheelbase with Maxx links, to the TSC10 chassis!
