There are NO electronics. As soon it's with in range of gate markers it makes a perfect run through them. With no operator interaction.

Thanks guys,

The receiver is inside a project box from Radio shack. The cover has a inside lip, I cut out the lexan so the cover could fit inside the cutout. Then I notched the lower box for the wires, and bolted it up. The Quark esc is not protected yet, but that will probably go inside a small box as well.

Cole, you can direct your truck away from those gates, I am sure Tyler could give you some excellent pointers

Kevin, you are more then welcome to clean my tires :-P

I was asked how i mounted the skid plate, so I took some pictures. And while I was taking pictures of the skid plate mounts, I also took a couple of my BTA setup. I made the carbon drag link at work, just incase anyone was wondering about it.

Beadlocks finally came in I know people say that the mashers do not work well with the beadlocks, but they seem like a good fit to me. I guess I will have to run it, and see if they slip. If they do I will shim the bead, or figure something out.

If those rims don't work out, I'll take 'em off your hands.

Finally finished painted the rest of the rims.... I also machined the edge of the rims down a bit, to better hold the masher tires.

Truck is looking real good. How much do you think you machined off the rim? My mashers haven't slipped yet, but I have to take care when mounting them, so they don't. Machining a little off the rim makes a great solution.

Thanks, I think it was around 1.2mm's that I removed from the first one. The rest of them I eyeballed.

What the hell are you talking about? Are you looking at the first few pages with my shocks zip tied to the rear of the frame? Look at the rest of the thread :-P

I think the rig looks really good. And the shock mounts look great to me.
Does your rig ride in the shocks quit a bit?

Thanks, it is setup with droop suspension. They have zero up travel. I figured that was the best way to build a belly dragger tuber.

that is really cool. This made sound stupid but i am still learning about suspension etc... but do your shocks even run springs. I know there is none on the outside, but maybe you have a super soft spring on the inside?
Thanks for answereing my q's, i assume it crawls alot better with a low cg.

With droop suspension there are springs inside the shocks to keep them compressed. They fit on the shaft.

What springs to you put in the inside.

I know for the outside I am just making custom springs from scratch to reduce torque twist, but i have yet to figure out the inside which i plan to do. Thanks.

They were just springs I had from something else, I didn't have much luck with mini-T springs as they didn't fit. Its slim pickings for small springs that are soft enough.
