Default My first TLT, finally ready to show

I bought this thing on a lark from Tank. I gotta give him props cuz this thing was fun from the start. Stock chassis modded and a Pede tranny mounted. Basically I bought it just to have fun with.

Well... after having it for a month and doing everything I could to balance it out, smooth up the drivetrain, get the suspension just so... I think this thing is gonna be a bit of a badass on the rocks. Got some weighted Mashers on the front now which helped immensely.

The only thing I have to work on is a limiter system should the drop off be a problem. Don't know yet that it will be. Anyway, she crawls around the house nicely!

Now I am just waiting on my rock rings...

Looks real nice man. It's nice to see someone was able to re-use the TLT-1 chassis and make it an effective crawler.

I have recently got my hands on a kit and was thinking that might be a feasible alternative to buying a custom chassis.

Thanks all... yea I try to build clean rigs, at least chassis wise. This body is the shape I got it in.

I just hope it does as well out on the rocks as it does around the house.

fender trim looks like black nitro fuel line

good idea so you dont end up with slices in the tires

Looks to me like cockpit combing. The trim you put around the edge of an open cockpit on an airplane. You can buy it in small to large scale diameters and it already has the split in it.
