i'm jacking mine up for 33 1/2 inch tires, we still need to hook up the steering though. we might get a parts zuk for a nice 'lil go-kart too. they need to make zuk bodies!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Well back on topic....

Nice build! You're going to want to get that battery lower, though.

You are going to need to start looking for a new servo...you might get 1 run out of the plastic gears and low torque of the 2055. Maybe a little longer if you are real careful with it.

thanks for the tips - i had the battery mounted on the servo until i changed the shock mount positions - lowered the ride height, and now cant fit the battery there... not sure what to do.

the servo arm is from OFNA.

new pics with some crawling action...

since my first post i mounted the battery on the servo, weighted the wheels with some stick-on wheel weights, trimmed the body a bit, and tweaked the links and shocks to get the ride height down.

I'm running the Blue Bird bms-630MG Pleanty of torque water proof and a good price (About $34 on ebay). This is the link for the specs. http://blue-bird-model.com/USA/index2.htm

You will definitely need a goos ESC to get the most out of the high torque servos. They crave 6V otherwise you'll experience stalling of your rig .
