Default widener?

so how many of u out there are runing wideners? i am courious because i'am buliding a comp rig and courious if they would help or hinder me. i was thinking about the 3/4 inch ones i saw on the vendors section.

It kinda of all depends on you and how your rig is set up. Some like them b/c ot makes more room for steering and clearance for links and shocks. But then it may make it harder to clear a few gates b/c the added width. But that same added width may help in off camber spots.

I have the TobeeCraft 8mm wideners, so they add just 8mm to each side, this lets the RedRocks clear my springs (just barely) at full lock.

Your preference on wideners will change with the type of wheels you run also. I have seen some guys run dish wheels and use the 1inch wideners.

Just remember since you're building a comp. rig, if you plan on getting the cvd's from RCP, they come with wideners. Just an fyi.

I used the Tobee 48mm on my tuber just to clear the frame. Looks great but it might be easyer to snap an axle .... not for sure I'm new to this.
