| Reign K2-3S TLT-1 Rock Crawling Chassis
I just bought this chassis to start a crawler build and would like to get advice in what to do. I am trying to build a somewhat scale crawler. I have looked at alot of posts on this site and have purchased several things to complete the build based on these posts. SO I HOPE YOU GUYS ARE RIGHT!!! LOL. Here is what the chassis looks like http://www.reignrc.com/scale.html I need help on shocks, turnbuckles, and driveshaft. Is there any tips in finding right turnbuckles for the linked suspension? Is there a good size shock I should use? And so on. Thanks for any help. |

You should post this in scale forum. There is probably more people who can help you out there. Good luck on your build.

On the same site you linked to, Reign has a build document that tells you what they use to build up a scale rig with the chassis. |

I have the same chassis, and am just starting the build as well. I am using Tamiya touring car shocks for the build, but I eventually plan to upgrade to the 60mm shocks that Run2Jeepn is selling in the Vendor Market. For links, I am making some out of 8/32" threaded rod and Revo end links, with teflon tubing for protection. Once I start the build, I will probably post a build thread. The build document on his site is excellent, and he has just recently updated it http://www.reignrc.com/downloads/K2-...20Document.pdf |

reignrc has build documents posted up on their site. they give you all the specs and part numbers needed to assemble their chassis'. ive got a k2-3l theyre very easy to build, fun to drive and proving to be pretty tough to break. jmorrison518... i would reccommend tamiya super low friction shocks over the R2J ones.... run2 is a great guy to deal with but i took those same 60mm shocks off my k2-3l before it ever saw rocks, they leak horribly. |

Associated TC3 shocks are also a good choice for this chassis. |
