what are good body mounts for the SW2?

Depends on your body, but I used the TLT ones with no problems. Losi also sells some that work with the hole spacing on the SW2. These are both for top mounting, don't know about side mounting options.

well if your using a body w/ flat sides like a bronco you can run posts out the sides. or what I did on both of mine was to cut pieces of delrin rod to the length I needed than I bolted a plate to them and just attatch the body w/ velcro. this way you don't have any post or bolts sticking out thru the body to get hung up on, or crack your body out.

yea, can you post some pics? How does the velcro hold up in a rollover? ERIN, do you know what Losi body mounts they are? Thanks

Parma generic body posts come in many lengths starting at like 1.5" up to like 5" in half inch increments...made in USA, black plastic, drillable for side or top mounting and easily trimmed to length.

i used the stock tlt for the hood and the hpi ones for the rear

i didn't like and want the side post look

take into consideration that i used the hpi rubicon body

here are some pics for you. the velcro holds up, but that might vary a little depending on what brand/variety of velcro you use. these pics don't have any velcro on the plates, but it shows you what I'm talking about.

I'm going to do a variation on the velcro type set up.

I'm going to have posts comeing off the chassis like above, but with thin aluminum angle bolted to it.

The angle will let the body rest on it and I'll probably use some small screws to attach it...the weight will be held by the angles.

I'd also like to use the angle to mount some "rock sliders" to, but mine will probably end up looking like a simple nerf bar!
