get better shocks

i dont hav e money rite now

just wondering if any one had a good idea of a good body i could get for my rig im having trouble figuring out what i want jeep rubi body or dodge ram mega cab or a chevy body im not rly sure so ideas would be nice? thanks guys oh and i was also wondering if i SHOULD upgrade my shocks or are they ok?

depends on what look you want

if you want a more close to scale look it doesn;t really matter what body you get, maybe a your favorite vehicle or the one you hav always wanted or to resemble your 1:1

if you are going to compete you need to do some major cutting in the fender wells so your rig articulates better and in the front and rear bumper areas for better approach and departure angles, that is whjy you see alot of baja bugs out there

Hi there, just a comment on this pic, it seems as if you haven't shaved the tabs on the bottom of the tranny?

i used some washers to eat up that space so i wouldn't have to cut them

thATS what i did put spacers under the tranny raised it a little

Looking good now, the tires and wheels are going to make the next biggest difference at this stage. M2ks seem to be the all around favorite for 2.2 comps unless you're going with a modified tire. You mentioned the body, a lot of people use the Bug for another reason also. Because of the rounded off shape many times in comps it will roll back over when other bodies stay stuck upside down.

yea but when i first started the hobby i didnt rly know what to get u know? and i dont rly have crawling spots for rocks but i have ordered G hawgs which will be going on narrowed rims and the tread will be cut i am going for more of a scale look on this rig even tho the chassis is a comp chassis but that was my mistake in the beginning soo im just trying to turn it around n make it what i want i guess? lol im not sure i guess iwill have perfomence like a comp chassis but the scale look

well this guy i was talking to urlier gave me a brilliant idea to maybe make my xrc more scale and look like a trail chassis i will have the supplies to do it somtime this weekend i will make a mock up of it but i am not sure if i want to do it yet or not i would like to see how the xrc chassis performs be4 i do any modifieing to it but i am not giving any hints to what i will be doing to it till i get supplies : )

Well guys, i have my body coming jeep rubicon body and my 55t lath motor and my pinion gear and maybe a FREEBIE if im lucky when i get my stuff i will show some pics and i STILL havent gotten my TIRES yet so i dont know!!! but will be more pics soon by next week thanks!
