| Finally finished my TLT
Well, I finally got my TLT together last week, and decided to snap some bench pics of it for kicks. The chassis was made by a friend (but will soon be for sale), running a Stealth and Integy 65t on 9 1100mah 18t cells.....it's good for about 5mph, but has insane torque. The tranny was modded to use the 2.5 shafts, again made by that same friend. TowerPro 995MG servo heaves the Masher 2000's (3oz's of bb's in the fronts, 1oz in the rears) with ease, and a Xtra "Seismic" esc works great for being so cheap. So far, it was the best crawler in our little group during the last outing, with stiff springs in the rear and no oil in the shocks too! Oh yeah, topped it with a Nissan that I wanted to use up some Flourescent Yellow on, turned out pretty good....despite the hacking. |

rcnut38: I made the tranny mount, so I could've used whatever I want. However, I love the smoothness and quiet operation of the Stealth, only get the hum of the motor while driving around! Joe, yeah, I cleaned the stupid bench....way too much crap on it, couldn't even find tools anymore. seanhawk: Yes and no, the guy had a SW2 and didn't like it for the stuff we usually run on, I've never had one though, so I wouldn't know the driving differences between the two. He wanted a bit more adjustability without changing the link length and that was one of the main things he built in. | |

The chassis looks nice and similar to SW-2. How much will you be asking for it? Quote:

I'm not the one making the chassis, it's a friend, and while there are some similarities between it and the SW2 but some differences too. Sorry for jumping on ya' mrpink, long day I guess...... rockbuggy: It's a T Maxx forward only conversion shaft, fitted onto the B4's diff gear. chivas72: Not that I can tell, but the springs are still a bit stiff. It's a M3 screw through the shock cap, through a half inch wide piece of alum. tubing, and held on the other side of the chassis with a nylock. |
