If your differential is locked you'll have a crappy turning radius but here's some tips on making it better... 1)You can shave down the inside steering knuckle which allows for more steering travel. 2) you can get a longer servo horn and mount the rod on the lowest hole. Or 3)you can buy a second metal gear servo and a y-harness for 4 wheel steering all the time. I did all three and have great steering, just remember though if you do the third option you wont be able to compete in the 2.2 class comps, only two wheel steering. I just use my crawler for fun and don't plan on competeing so good luck on which ever method you choose.

Usually, on mine, the outer cup contacts the inner shaft before the knuckle hits the housing. I grind down the cup, knuckle and housing.

Default Limited Steering

That is the nature of the beast. What is your WB.? Standard is 12.5. You can shave down the knuckles and a few other things or add rear steering. Chances are you crappy steering is the same as everyone else. Which means it’s not all that crappy anymore.

Did you search for "stearing"? That might be why you found nothing.

One way to increase turning radius is........Cut or grind down the stub shaft cup......When you do this it allows the axle to turn more inside without the cup limiting the turning of the axle inside the cup.....

Hope that helps....!

Ok, you have got front and rear steering. What ESC are you using and did you need to add a voltage regulator? I am planning to do F & R steering, having a Teken Rebel II, I have been told to get a voltage regulator. If you have the same set up without regulator, I like to have F & R also.

umm To me it looks like your lower steering link hits the screws coming through the axle housing, limiting travel.

what i suggest is to move the lower link to the top of the arm for more ground clearance, also trim up those long screws. even though moving the link will allow it to fit in between the scrwes anyway.

And then do like they said and grind some on the drive cups and where the axle housing contacts the knuckle at full steer.

And then get some CVD's when they come available.

I just have a Y-harness with 1 female servo connections reversed, it was about $15 at the lhs. I am not using a voltage regulator, I dont think it's needed.

Muscle...I'm not having any issues with turning radius? I was posting pics of my rig of things I did too make it better.

That is exactly what I did...thanks for putting the pics up kam

If you want to get the most out of the turning radius, just grind em down put them on the axle, turn the stub shaft, and see if if pops off the axle, then keep grinding em for maximum turning.....

Ya, I just wanted everything black and it was the easiest and cheapest fix, serves no purpose other that.
